Yesterday, I met up with a bunch of friends for “Jelly”, a day of casual co-working for entrepreneurs and freelancers. I always find that some of the best ideas and inspiration can come out of a day of working around other creative people. I think we probably managed to get an hour of solid work done before a trip to buy a carton of Coronas was made. We had an impromptu Jelly Christmas party and I ended up shooting a portrait for my High School Teachers series and then some simple black and white portraits of everyone. This is Josh, who I actually previously shot as one of my inspirations for my BNE project. I haven’t seen him for years so it was great to finally catch up and hear what he had been up to. This portrait is one of my favourites from the day.
